Verkhovna Rada approved the draft law on sanctions against Russia
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Photo: rada.gov.ua The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on sanctions, reports Ukrainian Pravda. 244 deputies voted for the corresponding decision. Before the vote, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that some disputed points were removed from the bill, namely the possibility of restriction of postal communication, the termination of television broadcasts, and the closure of the media.
