155 years ago, on October 10, 1861, the Norwegian polar explorer Fridiof Nansen was born, who was the first to cross Greenland on skiing. He became the laureate of the 1922 Nobel Prize "For many years of efforts to assist defenseless." Since 1921, Nansen has been the Supreme Commissar of the League of Nations for Refugees, and since 1920 he was repatriated by prisoners of war of the First World War. By the end of 1922, he managed to send 428 thousand people home.
