2015 Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack
Two years ago, on January 7, 2015, a terrorist attack was carried out in Paris at the editorial office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. The terrorist attack killed 12 people, including the magazine's editor-in-chief and cartoonist Stéphane Charbonnier, and injured 11 people. The reason for the attack was a comic book published in a weekly magazine about the life of the Prophet Muhammad. Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula claimed responsibility for the attack.
