1917 Declaration on the Formation of Yugoslavia
One hundred years ago, on July 20, 1917, on the island of Corfu, where the remnants of the Serbian army and the government were evacuated, the chairman of the Council of Ministers of Serbia, Nikola Pasic, and the chairman of the Yugoslav Committee, Ante Trumbich, signed a declaration on the creation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Yugoslavia).
