The police mistook the 14-year-old for a pawnbroker and severely beat him
On the afternoon of August 2, in Volgograd, plainclothes police officers severely beat 14-year-old Alexander Kostin and said he fell on his own. His eye was injured, his nose was broken, a craniocerebral injury was diagnosed, and multiple bruises to his face and body were recorded. The police did not offer medical assistance to Kostin. When he told Nina Kostina about the beating of his mother, she wrote a statement to the police.
