The White House asks American banks to continue working with some Russian companies - Bloomberg
The US Treasury and State Department have privately asked the largest US banks, including JPMorgan and Citigroup, not to refuse cooperation with "certain strategic Russian companies." Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources. In particular, officials are asking for “basic services,” such as money transfers and conversion into dollars, to those companies that are not directly sanctioned. These are, for example, Gazprom, Uralkali and PhosAgro.
