A gay man from Chechnya, who fled to Europe from torture by security forces in 2018, was detained in Moscow. He returned to the country to bury his father
At Moscow's Domodedovo airport, police detained 28-year-old Idris Arsamikov. This is reported by the Crisis Group of the IC SOS. According to human rights activists, at the airport, Arsamikov was handed over to Chechen security forces, who, presumably, are taking him to Chechnya. There, a case of fraud on an especially large scale was initiated against him.
