The governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor called the situation in the region tense. “Every day we fix new sources of landscape and forest fires. All this is exacerbated by very hot, dry weather and strong winds,” he said. More than 1,100 people are involved in fighting fires in the region, Moor said. “Unfortunately, the fire is also spreading to residential buildings, to our settlements, and we see that in most cases the causes of fire are still arson - the human factor.
