In annexed Crimea, three animators who danced to Verka Serduchka were first forced to sing the song “Vladimir Putin is a great fellow,” then fined under an administrative article for “discrediting” the Russian army, and then fired. According to security forces, on August 8, in the Almond Grove water park in Alushta, three girls danced to the song of Verka Serduchka. After that they were detained by the police.
