In Russia, for the first time in ten years, cases of diagnosis of alcohol dependence have increased, reports Kommersant . The data was found in the Rosstat collection “Healthcare in Russia-2023,” published at the end of December. Until 2021, Russia experienced a steady decline in the number of people with alcohol dependence and psychosis. From 2010 to 2021, the number of newly diagnosed patients with alcohol dependence decreased almost threefold - from 154 thousand to 53 thousand people.
