From a millennium seed, a tree mentioned in the Bible was raised
An international group of scientists from Israel, the USA, Australia, Switzerland and France has grown a tree from a millennial seed, which was considered disappeared and could be a source of a balm mentioned in the Bible. It is reported by The Independent with reference to Communications Biology. According to the publication, an unusual seed of about two centimeters long, dating from the period between 993 and 1202 years, found in one of the caves of the Jewish desert in the late 1980s.
