Kadyrov appointed his 20-year-old son as Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, appointed his eldest son, 20-year-old Akhmat, as acting deputy head of the government of the republic. Kadyrov Sr. announced this in his Telegram channel. Akhmat Kadyrov will combine his new position with the post of regional minister of physical culture and sports, which he took up in May 2024. Previously, from February to May 2024, the eldest son of the head of Chechnya was the head of the republic’s Ministry of Youth Affairs.
