Starting January 21, the United States will indefinitely suspend the issuance of immigrant visas for citizens of 75 countries, including Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, Brazil, Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Thailand and Yemen. The document allegedly states that the suspension will remain in effect indefinitely until the State Department revises its visa screening and selection procedures.
