I have written about some of the subjects touched upon below more than once, including in the modern Ukrainian context. There is, however, a serious reason that forces me to return to the role of the Russian language in Ukraine and its supposed future fate in this country. The reason this time was a series of statements by the poet Boris Khersonsky, who directly touched on this topic in several posts he made on Facebook.
