Twenty years ago, one of the most high -profile criminal cases in the modern history of Russia began - the so -called “Three Whales” case about the smuggling of furniture, to which high -ranking special services were involved. His investigation served as the beginning of the unprecedented clan war of the security forces from the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutor's office and customs.
