British intelligence: Russian army may have taken control of most of Soledar
The Russian military has made progress near Soledar in the Donetsk region over the past four days, British intelligence said in its daily report. It is likely that units of the Russian army and Wagner PMC control most of the city. Soledar is located about 10 kilometers north of Bakhmut, the capture of which, as analysts note, remains the main task of Russian troops. The capture of Soledar will likely help the Russians disrupt the supply of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Bakhmut.
