The European Union lifted sanctions from the owner of RBC Berezkin, billionaire Akhmedov and ex-director Ozon Shulgin
The Council of the European Union, as part of the “revision of sanctions”, did not extend the restrictions against four Russians introduced due to the invasion of Ukraine. Their names in the statement of the EU Council are not named. The agency publication, citing a source in the EU, writes that the sanctions were removed from Grigory Berezkin, Farhad Akhmedov, Alexander Shulgin and George Shuvaev. Previously, Reuters wrote about the lifting of sanctions from the same people.
