American tank destroyed the sheikh
In Iraq, the elder of the large al-Qaud tribe, Sheikh Hamad Al-Qaud, was killed by a shot from an American tank. The circumstances of the sheikh's death were reported by the newspaper Az-Zaman . St. Petersburg National Bolsheviks were jailed for 15 days
On October 6, the Vasileostrovsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced two activists of the National Bolshevik Party of Russia ( NBP ) to 15 days of arrest for a propaganda event held at the election headquarters of gubernatorial candidate Valentina Matvienko. The court regarded the actions of the National Bolsheviks as hooliganism, RIA Novosti reports. The young people will serve their sentence in one of the St. Petersburg pre-trial detention centers.
