Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize
On October 9, the Nobel Committee named the 2009 Peace Prize laureate. It was US President Barack Obama. According to the committee members, his efforts in strengthening international diplomacy and cooperation between people deserve such a high award. Obama will receive about €1 million. The award winners will be awarded in Oslo on December 10.

Vladislav Tretyak received another position
Vladislav Tretyak has been appointed general manager of the Russian Olympic hockey team. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Hockey Federation (RHF). Russia is not considering a loan to Ukraine
Russia continues negotiations and will soon decide on the possibility of providing a loan to Bulgaria and Serbia.
