MilCo Holding will buy more than 50% of Dairy Alliance
Today, October 30, the Antimonopoly Committee allowed MilCo Holding NV (Netherlands) to buy more than 50% of the shares of the Dairy Alliance holding (Kyiv). According to the AMCU, the acquisition of shares in Dairy Alliance ensures that the buyer exceeds 50% of the votes in the highest management body of the holding. MilCo Holding carries out investment activities outside of Ukraine.

Former riot police did not convince the jury
Guilty verdict in case of murder of businesswoman In the Novosibirsk regional court, a jury yesterday returned a guilty verdict to two former employees of the West Siberian Internal Affairs Directorate for Transport. UK consumer confidence rises to peak
Today, October 30, Bloomberg reports that the UK consumer confidence index, calculated by research company GfK NOP, rose in October to its highest level since January 2008. The indicator value increased to minus 13 points from minus 16 points in September, reported. Analysts expected the indicator to rise to minus 14 points. Rising consumer confidence will help lift the British economy out of recession, which unexpectedly contracted by 0.4% in the third quarter of 2009.

Inflammation is not easy

OJSC Nytva reduces losses
According to the report on the financial activities of Nytva OJSC (Nytva Metallurgical Plant, Perm Territory), the enterprise's net losses decreased by 81%. Aeroflot remains profitable
The largest Russian air carrier Aeroflot yesterday published its IFRS financial statements for the first half of 2009. Government debt decreased by 0.6% in September
The public (direct) and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in September decreased by 0.6%, or $0.2 billion, to $34.91 billion. Overall, since the beginning of the year, public debt has increased by 41.9%, or $10.31 billion, through receiving loans from the International Monetary Fund ($5 billion), issuing domestic government bonds and providing government guarantees.
