Sberbank increases dividend rate
Shareholders promised record-breaking payouts in history Minority shareholders of Sberbank achieved their goal. Dividends for 2011 will be set at 15.3% of net profit. They will not only double last year’s payments, but will also become a record in the bank’s recent history. Such generosity of the country's largest bank is largely explained by the desire of its management to win over investors against the backdrop of another attempt to privatize part of the state stake in Sberbank.
