Negotiations with Iran move to Istanbul
No other results were achieved at the Moscow round Two days of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear issue ended in Moscow yesterday. Their main outcome was the decision to continue the dialogue - the experts will meet on July 3 in Istanbul. However, it seems that the United States no longer sees the point in negotiations and, as Kommersant found out, has already prepared a new package of sanctions against Tehran, which are designed to isolate Iran from the outside world.

One hostage released in Toulouse
The criminal who took four hostages in one of the branches of the CIC bank in Toulouse in the south of France, released one hostage, RIA Novosti reports, citing French media. An unknown assailant took four bank employees hostage in Toulouse on Wednesday morning after a failed robbery. He fired into the air and declared his connection with the al-Qaeda terrorist network.

Putin may attend the London Olympics on a private visit
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he will most likely come to the Olympics in London, but it will be a private trip. Answering a question from journalists, Mr. Putin recalled that the Russian delegation at the opening of the Olympic Games in London will be headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. “But I will most likely also attend the Olympics.
