The average deposit rate has gone down
The arithmetic average of the maximum interest rates on deposits in rubles of ten Russian credit institutions that attract the largest volume of deposits in the third ten days of June decreased to 9.92 from 9.99%, the Bank of Russia reported. Total has found a large gas field in the Caspian Sea
The French oil and gas company Total SA has discovered a large gas field in the Caspian Sea. Gas was discovered in the Absheron X-2 block, its estimated reserves are 5-10 trillion cubic feet (140 to 280 billion cubic meters). The discovered deposit occupies approximately 270 sq km in area.
