For Russian companies, the political conflict has turned into an excellent opportunity to clear the market of competitors so that they will never have a chance to return to it.

State-owned companies are not rushing to the Far East
The relocation of their central offices is delayed The government's widely announced intention to move the headquarters of some large state-owned companies to the Far East will apparently be adjusted. According to Deputy Prime Minister for the Far East Yuri Trutnev, the move may somehow affect RusHydro, Transneft and Rosgeologiya. But only RusHydro is ready for the move, and even in this case it is unlikely to affect the entire central apparatus.

Eastern Express
Difficult relations between the governments of Russia and Ukraine have led to the curtailment of economic ties between the countries. In particular, supplies to Russia of railway cars produced by factories in the neighboring state have ceased. Most freight operators believe that the current situation should be taken advantage of by Russian railcar manufacturers, for whom the market has been virtually cleared of competitors.
