The government will provide VEB with subsidies for the purchase of shares in the Export Credit Insurance Agency
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a government decree providing Vnesheconombank with a subsidy for the purchase of shares in the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance. As reported in the text of the document published on the government website, the federal budget for 2015 provides for annual budgetary allocations in the form of a property contribution of the Russian Federation to Vnesheconombank in the amount of 10 billion rubles.

The Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region upheld the claim of the Federal Tax Service to declare LLC Food Base No. 4 (one of the largest in the Ural region) bankrupt. As follows from the court materials, in the period from 2008 to 2011 the company failed to pay taxes totaling 78.7 million rubles. In addition, the company is obliged to pay 36.9 million rubles in penalties for violating payment deadlines and 3.3 million rubles in fines.

British Airways plane made an emergency landing in Baku due to an engine fire
A British Airways plane flying from Baku to London made an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev Airport in Baku on Friday.
