Klein received his first camera at the age of 18, having won it in cards, the accidental acquisition of which described his entire approach to photography. He received an art education in Paris and he was not interested in the shrines of the photographs: “I was not particularly attracted to French photographers, to them all, including those who are now worshiped, for example, Cartier Bresson, inherent politeness, sentimentality, romantic and humanistic elements.
