VTsIOM: A third of Russians for six months have not read a single book
Over the past six months, almost a third of Russians (30%) have not read a single book. TASS writes about this with reference to the study of VTsIOM. From one to five books, 44% of respondents read in six months, another 25% - more than 10 books. The most popular writers were called the Russians Daria Dontsova, Boris Akunin, Zakhara Prilepin and Viktor Pelevin. At the same time, 66% of Russians consider writers intellectual people, while 10% called them limited.
