The Moscow City Court rejected the complaint of the lawyers of the Bolotnaya case defendant, Astrakhan activist Maxim Panfilov, for detention, the Moscow agency reports , citing his lawyer Sergei Panchenko. “The meeting was held behind closed doors, as medical confidentiality was touched upon in court,” the lawyer added. On April 8, the Basmanny Court arrested Panfilov. Lawyers then reported that the Astrakhan resident had Tourette syndrome and asked to be placed under house arrest.
