Ayub Tuntuyev, a former security officer of the first president of Chechnya, Akhmat Kadyrov, who was convicted of a terrorist attack, was charged in a new criminal case, the human rights organization Legal Initiative, which provides legal assistance to Tuntuyev, told Mediazona. Charges were brought under Part 2 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code (participation in a gang) and Article 317 of the Criminal Code (attack on the life of a law enforcement officer).
