Turkish police detained residents of Dagestan in connection with a terrorist attack in an Istanbul nightclub
Among those suspected of involvement in the terrorist attack in an Istanbul nightclub on January 1 are residents of Dagestan, reports Dogan News Agency . In total, Turkish police detained 40 people; all of them are allegedly associated with the Islamic State terrorist group. The arrest operation took place on the morning of January 4 in Izmir, Turkey. Three families were detained, 9 men, 11 women and 20 children from “East Turkestan, Dagestan and Kyrgyzstan,” the agency writes.
