Six people accused of blowing up a gas pipeline and power lines in the Volga region were given 8 to 25 years in prison.
The Volga District Military Court sentenced to long terms of imprisonment six accused of blowing up fuel and energy complex facilities (oil product pipelines, gas pipelines, electrical substations, power lines) in the Volga region, according to the Investigative Committee’s website. According to the department, the accused Akhmedov received eight years in prison, Faskhutdinov - 11 years, Akhmetshin - 16 years, Zinnurov - 17 years, Ganeev - 24 years, Galiev - 25 years.
