The court placed nationalist Potkin under house arrest in the case of legalization of BTA Bank property
On April 12, the Moscow Meshchansky Court placed nationalist Alexander Potkin (Belov), accused of money laundering (Article 174 of the Criminal Code), under house arrest for two months, Potkin’s lawyer Igor Popovsky told Mediazona. As Popovsky reported, on April 13, Potkin, sentenced to three and a half years in prison in a case of extremism, should be released from the pre-trial detention center, where he was transferred to consider an appeal against the verdict in the Moscow City Court.
