A Moscow region activist convicted of reposting stopped his hunger strike in a Belgorod colony
Moscow region activist Valentin Sokolov, convicted for posts on social networks, ended his dry hunger strike in IK-4, Belgorod region, his wife Elena told OVD-Info. On August 1, she said that her husband went on a hunger strike because of violations of his rights in the colony. The activist said that he was protesting, in particular, because the meeting to recount his term was scheduled for August 20, although, according to the new law, he was supposed to be released on July 16.
