In Vologda, an investigator from the Ministry of Internal Affairs stole money from a safe, recognized as material evidence, in order to close a loan
The Investigative Committee for Vologda sent to court a criminal case against an investigator from one of the police departments, who is accused of two thefts (Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code) of money from an official safe. This is stated on the UK website. In the summer of 2018, the accused, left alone in her colleague’s office, opened the office safe and pulled out an envelope with money, recognized as evidence in one of the cases under investigation.
