The Basmanny District Court of Moscow sentenced the founder of the Taras Bulba restaurant chain, Yuri Beloivan, to two years in a general regime colony for failure to pay 650 million rubles in taxes (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 199 of the Criminal Code), the Investigative Committee and Interfax reported . According to investigators, in 2011-2014, Beloivan, who managed eight restaurants, instructed employees not to punch checks or accept bank cards.
