Alleged Chechen militant Imran Dasayev, detained in January 2017, told his cellmates that he was wounded in the leg by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, Novaya Gazeta writes , citing several unnamed sources. The publication calls Imran Dasaev a member of an armed group that has existed since 2015. Its participants, the newspaper suggests, including Imran Dasaev’s cousin Amran Dasaev, killed private security officer Ayub Dautmerzaev in 2016.
