Security forces detained a suspect in the murder of 40-year-old St. Petersburg activist Elena Grigorieva, according to the website of the Investigative Committee. According to investigators, on the night of July 20-21, near house No. 11 on Pulkovskaya Street, a drunken, previously convicted 38-year-old native of Kyrgyzstan, “during a sudden domestic conflict,” stabbed his friend Grigorieva about eight times in the back and face.
