A case was opened against a Vladikavkaz resident who locked his kidnapped bride in an apartment and threatened to kill her.
A criminal case was opened against a resident of Vladikavkaz, Tamerlan Slanov, for threats to kill (Article 119 of the Criminal Code) and illegal imprisonment (Article 127 of the Criminal Code) after a complaint from the victim’s mother to the Prosecutor General’s Office. This was reported by the human rights organization “Zone of Law”. In September 2019, Slanov, according to “local tradition,” stole his bride Valentina Gabaraeva, and they began to live together, human rights activists said.
