67 out of 3,980 deputies of regional parliaments voted against amendments to the Constitution that would nullify Putin’s presidential terms
Only 1.7% of regional parliamentarians spoke out against the adoption of amendments to the Constitution that would nullify Vladimir Putin’s presidential terms. Voting has ended in all regions of Russia; Tyva, Adygea, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kamchatka Territory voted on March 13. 67 deputies voted against the amendments to the Constitution, Mediazona calculated. In total, 3,980 people sit in Russian regional parliaments.
