A Russian who applied for political asylum was killed in Austria; The police call the killer and victim Chechens
A Russian was shot dead in the Austrian city of Gerasdorf bei Wien, reports ORF citing police spokesman Walter Schwarzenecker. According to the publication, at about 7 pm on July 4, one man shot another in the head, from which the latter died. The killer was detained in the city of Linz, where he drove away in a silver car. As Schwarzenecker clarified, the murdered man has a Russian passport and applied for political asylum.
