Convicted in the “January case,” Evgeny Tugankov went on a hunger strike in a St. Petersburg penal colony, OVD-Info reports , citing Natalia Gorbunova, a volunteer of the “Prisoners 212” support group, and a letter to the head of the colony. Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, he demands that prisoners be allowed to use washbasins in the dining room and that the colony be provided with sanitizers.
