A Tyumen resident was sentenced to six months in a penal colony in the case of “fake stories” about the army
On July 21, the Tyumen Regional Court sentenced Eduard Shcherbakov, accused of spreading “fakes” about the Armed Forces and rehabilitating Nazism, to six months in a penal colony. This was reported on the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee. According to investigators , on April 11, 23-year-old Shcherbakov, “under the guise of reliable reports,” published “false information” about the actions of the army (Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).
