Human rights activists: more than 70% of women who died from violence during the pandemic were killed by partners or relatives
according to a study by the Consortium of Women's Non-Governmental Organizations. During the pandemic, more than 70% of murdered women died from domestic violence, Human rights activists studied 11,175 published verdicts for 2020 and 2021 and identified 3,759 verdicts in cases of murder of women, of which 2,680 cases involved murder by a partner or relative.
