The Abakan Garrison Military Court sentenced private Andrei Ashcheulov, accused of murder, to eight years in a maximum security colony. This was reported by the press service of the 2nd Eastern District Military Court. According to investigators, in May 2024, a drunken Ascheulov did not like a remark about parking his car, and he shot at the person who made it with a smoothbore gun. The soldier hit the man in the head and he died.
