The ex-wife of the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta Europe, Antonina Martynova, convicted in the case of attempted murder of her daughter, had her real sentence replaced with a suspended sentence.
Three judges of the First Court of Appeal, chaired by Judge Elena Kondakova, at the request of the prosecutor's office, reduced the sentence of the ex-wife of the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta Europe, Antonina Martynova, from nine years to eight and replaced it with a suspended sentence in the case of attempted murder of her daughter in 2007.
