The Moscow City Court reduced the prison term of one of the founders of Runet, Alexei Soldatov, by a month.
The Moscow City Court commuted the sentence of one of the founders of Runet, former Deputy Minister of Communications Alexei Soldatov. Instead of two years, he was sentenced to a year and eleven months in prison, reports his son, the founder of the Agentura.ru project, Andrei Soldatov. At the end of July, the then 72-year-old man was found guilty of abuse of power (Part 1 of Article 201 of the Criminal Code).
