The Russian cargo ship Ursa Major, which sank in the western Mediterranean, suffered from a “targeted terrorist attack” before the crash. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the company that owns the ship, Oboronlogistics. According to the company, the cause of the accident was three explosions that occurred on the afternoon of December 23 from the starboard side of the cargo ship in the stern. After this, the ship received a sharp list to the left side of up to 25 degrees.
