A court in Moscow arrested a businessman from Kalmykia on charges of involvement in a terrorist organization
The Basmanny District Court of Moscow sent Eduard Baltykov, a businessman and activist from Kalmykia, to a pre-trial detention center. The case file was published on the court’s website; his relatives also reported the criminal prosecution of the man. A case was opened against Baltykov for participation in a terrorist organization (Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). It is not yet known what kind of organization he is accused of belonging to.
