Five people were detained in northern Germany on charges of supplying goods to Russia in circumvention of sanctions, the country's prosecutor's office reported . All five have German citizenship. Moreover, two of them, Nikita S. and Daniel A., have dual citizenship of Germany and Russia. Another one, Artem I., has citizenship of Germany and Ukraine. They were detained in Lübeck, a port city on the Baltic Sea, and in the nearby city of Lauenburg.
