The magistrate of court district No. 206 in St. Petersburg sentenced in absentia the founder of the human rights project “Ark” Anastasia Burakova to a year in prison under the article on evading the duties of a “foreign agent”. As the press service of the city courts clarifies , in conjunction with the previous verdict of the Basmanny Court of Moscow, Burakova was sentenced to eight years and two months in a general regime colony.
